Elderly Population

The elderly population of India has already crossed 100 million mark during the year 2011. Elderly population sex ratio is in favor of female elderly, if we see the analysis of census data and projections of India. The total Indian population sex ratio is in favor of male population in ratio 940:1000 in contrast to elderly (60+) population ratio which is in favor of elderly women by 1022:1000.

As we hear about all of these diseases more and more each and every day, the population continues to grow at an accelerated rate.
